在Halibut Point(比目鱼点)附近，气温是-22℉(-5.5℃)... 有谁想来溜冰吗？由于从Glacier Bay(冰川湾)巨大的冰原吹来的冰冷的秋风，这个靠近海洋边缘的咸水池塘急速冰冻。这一天是那么的冷，以致于我仅仅是停下来拍这张照片就感受到了刺骨的寒冷。

A diez grados bajo cero, cerca de Halibut Point (la punta Halibut),… -¿a alguien se le antoja patinar sobre hielo? Esta laguna salina, cerca de la orilla del mar, se congeló instantáneamente por los gélidos vientos de otoño, que soplan desde los vastos campos de hielo de Glacier Bay (la bahía de los Glaciares). Hacía tanto frío ese día, que el simple hecho de detenerme para tomar esta fotografía, me heló hasta los huesos.

Ten below near Halibut Point…Ice skating anyone? This brackish pond near the ocean’s edge was flash frozen by the icy fall winds blowing off Glacier Bay’s vast ice fields. It was so cold on this day that just stopping to take this picture chilled me to the bone. Photographer: Craig Murdoch
