Una tarde vimos a un escribano nival brincar alrededor de un montón de nieve, en el glaciar Carroll (Carroll Glacier), se detenía y picoteaba. Cuando se fue, me acerqué y vi un montón de gusanos del hielo arrastrándose por la nieve granulada. Sí que destacan. Éste está sobre hielo macizo.

Late one afternoon we watched a Snow Bunting hop around a patch of snow on the Carroll Glacier, stopping and pecking. After it flew off I went over and looked, there were lots of ice worms crawling around the granulated snow. They sure stand out. This one is on solid ice. Photographer: Sean Neilson
