写真手前の山の後ろに沈み、空に影を投げかける夕日。こんな光景が見られるのは、ほんの数分で、その後夕日は水平線の向こうに沈んでしまいます。この写真は高地、ブレイディ氷河（Brady Glacier）近くの辺鄙な湖でキャンプをした時に撮影したものです。

夕阳很快就会落到海平线下。但是夕阳首先下沉到前景里的山下，投射出对比非常鲜明的阴影。这效果只持续了宝贵的几分钟。我在Brady Glacier（布雷迪冰川）附近一个幽静的湖那里的高山上露营时拍了这个镜头。

El sol vespertino pronto se ocultará tras el horizonte y hacia el mar, pero antes se desliza por debajo de las montañas que se ven al fondo, proyectando dramáticos contrastes de sombras. Este efecto sólo dura unos pocos pero apreciados minutos. Tomé esta foto mientras acampaba en la zona alpina, en un apartado lago cerca de Brady Glacier (del glaciar Brady).

The evening sun would soon fall beneath the horizon out to sea, but first it dipped below the mountains in the foreground, casting dramatic contrasting shadows.
