氷河の側でのキャンプは、鳥肌の立つ経験です。文字通り、寒さで鳥肌が立ちます。強風が氷の壁に沿って吹き下ろすとそれは寒く、着重ねもテントを固定する紐も沢山必要です。ここランプラッグ氷河（Lamplugh Glacier）の末端でキャンプしたとき、夜中に何度か氷が水に崩壊する音で目が覚めました。

在冰川边上露营是很“酷”的—— 一语双关 ，也很冷！当强风吹过冰面，你需要再加几层衣服，并有充足的固定线来确保你的帐篷的安全。我曾在Lamplugh Glacier（兰普卢冰川）的立面这里露营，我们夜里有时会被冰撞入水的声音弄醒。

Acampar al lado de un glaciar es genial, pero muy frío. Cuando los fuertes vientos soplan por la superficie del hielo, se necesitan un par de capas extra de ropa y un montón de cuerdas para asegurar la tienda de campaña. Acampamos aquí, frente a la fachada de Lamplugh Glacier (del glaciar Lamplugh), donde, de vez en cuando, nos despertaba el sonido del hielo cayéndose al agua.

Camping next to a glacier is very cool – quite literally, very cool! When strong winds blow down off the ice, you need a couple of extra layers of clothes and plenty of lines to secure your tent.
