33 degrees Fahrenheit and raining. This is a typical day in Glacier Bay. When I think of all of the layers of clothing and technology that I require to survive in conditions like these for only a few hours, it makes me really appreciate the biology of a moose. They withstand nearly constant wind and rain for half of the year and deep snow for the other half. I chose this shot because it shows a moose in the rain.
