For one summer season this ‘waterfall’ gushed out from the face of Lamplugh Glacier. Kayakers would be capsized if they were foolish enough to get too close. I took this photo from a nearby beach and it was as close as I could get to the glacier on foot. After enjoying the view for a moment, I had to quickly make a dash across the intertidal zone back towards our camp, as the tide was coming in and I was about to have nothing left to run on.
