My younger brother and I had been kayaking all day. By the time we found a camp site, it was too dark to see around the immediate area, but we could hear running water in the distance. In the morning when we awoke, we saw the source, a small ice cave. We decided to take a short walk through it, admiring the sculpted walls on the inside. When we reached the end, we found a waterfall. Our hair was stiff from not being washed in days, and the ocean salt water wasn’t helping that situation, so we both stuck our heads under the waterfall. It was pretty cold as expected, and it only helped our hair situation a little bit. But it was definitely worth it. Photographer: Tom Bergman
